Taylor Swift, whose popularity rivals that of any previous artist to headline the Staples Center, announced tour dates for 2023 on Tuesday morning and that she would make her first visit to the Los Angeles arena in March 2023. All the supporting acts were female musicians that Swift had previously supported.
The tour’s opening artists include Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Muna, Gayle, Gracie Abrams, and Owen. The tour kicks out on March 18, 2023, at what appears to be a nice spot for Swift, Glendale, AZ, where her previous expedition, the pre-pandemic “Reputation” tour, began in 2018.
Since she has released four original studio albums since her last tour, which record can the tour support, Swift called the tour “a journey through the musical periods of my career (past and present!)” and included a graphic depicting her appearance throughout her career.
